Refurbishment of a 70′ apartment
The project issue is the functional and architectural requalification of an apartment with a surface of about 75 mq and located in an apartment building of the ‘70s in Canavese, near Torino. The project concerned the overall reimagining of the rooms characterised by soft minimalism and design. The mocha-colored resin floor lends a touch of warmth to every room in the home, and in the bathroom also identifies the walls of the shower. The living and sleeping areas are characterized respectively by inserts in yellow and dark blue wallpaper. The design of the spaces has been integrated with the study of the furnishings, which were partly custom-made. The design sofa, with an almost organic shape, gives a little movement to the living area, which can be separated from the kitchen by a sliding wall, thus creating two separate rooms. A microhistory suspended between the search for the best functionality and design.
