The company has opened headquarter in New York. The interior design project has been developed by the Turin-based firm Isidoro Mastronardi
For LAVAZZA offices was selected a wide space (about 1,400 sq.mt.) at the 27th floor of the building, with an elevator directly stopping at the center of the offices. The balconies and the panoramic windows alongside the perimeter, are an interesting addition that allows to enjoy the view of city’s skyline as well as Brooklyn, at the same time adding add plenty of natural light. The Lavazza’s headquarter consists of different spaces, each with its one intended use and its own strong character. The help desk area is the first you see when you enter the offices, that’s why is really ‘corporate oriented’ (the corporate image is enhanced by the 3D coffee cup hanging on the wall), even though it is cozy and welcoming like a lounge area. The internal showroom is extremely appealing; it was designed to display in an straight and effective manner all the products to the American clientele.
The environment has a domestic vibe; here are displayed the coffee makers,
themed books and a set of merchandising and promotional products by Lavazza. A long table with stools is used for tasting products in a very friendly manner. A
simple sliding door divides the showroom from the main conference room; in addition to this hall, it was also added a smaller meeting room for small groups
of friends. The Lavazza headquarter also includes two executive offices and a wide open space for the employees to arrange up to 35 people. The cubicles are divided by low partitions that allow possible easy space reorganization. The office have been furnished by Unifor, while the refined made in Italy Italian lamps are by wellknown brand Artemide
