Private Apartment in via XX Settembre, Turin

Private Apartment in via XX Settembre, Turin

The project consists of the apartment’s renovation of around 100 mq in the center of Turin

The renovation project completely altered the layout of the spaces to meet the new client needs. The two rooms facing Via XX Settembre have been transformed in one big day area and the old entrance with the long corridor have been transformed in a squared entrance and a bathroom for the guests. From the day area you access to a new corridor that leads to the new main bathroom and to the two bedrooms which face the courtyard.
The two main features of the day area are a modern anthracite color American kitchen from the label Cucine&Cucine positioned on a raised floor area working as a stage and a new minimal fireplace custom made designed by the architect. The build-in cupboard behind the kitchen is realized and framed by a plasterboard structure and contains the fridge, the microwave and a big cupboard. The table has been custom made designed. There are four plastic chairs, two white and  two transparent while the iron bar stools for the kitchen have been custom made designed too. The couch in the relax zone is the model Air by Lago in a sand color version.
The chosen lamps for the day area are the Nemo Projecteur Le Corbusier in grey anthracite color: three hanging models above the kitchen and two wall lamps.
Through an antique restored and adapted double door you access the corridor (with built-in wardrobe) that connects to the private night area. The two bedrooms, one double and one single, aim to enlighten the spaces. The bed and the headboard in raw wood have been custom made designed like all the cupboards in the apartment.
The original wooden floor in the day area has been kept, while the floors of the night area are in grey anthracite resin. The entrance floor is in white resin, while in the guests bathroom remained in marble grit which has been polished.
The choices for the main bathroom were: bathtub Novellini Sense4 170×75 with the lateral sides covered in anthracite resin, sanitary fixtures Globo Stone and a washbasin Globo Stone 60×40 cm that leans on a custom made wooden shelf with beneath small drawer custom made designed. The washing machine and the dryer labeled Smeg lean one on the other in a custom made space.
You access the bathroom for the guest through a Bertolotto Walldoor.
Here we find the sanitary fixtures by Villeroy&Boch Subway, custom made shelf with a washbasin Althea Eclipse large 46 cm and an overhead shower Fiora 85×70 cm.
